My name is Lurian. I absolutely love cats. I think they are utterly hilarious. I have had them since I was young, each with their own distinct personality, traits and amusing hang-ups. My wife and I have had Maine Coons for the past 16 years, and I must say that not a single moment, from criminal mastermind to ditsy air-head, has been a dull one.

I started FatCats Empurrium with the goal of offering you, my dear reader, a glimpse into my thoughts and experiences. What started out a bit of social media fun, highlighting the indignant nature of the feline menace, has evolved into the blog you behold before you.
